The Worcester Blacksox are the 2010 Hockomock Amateur Baseball League Champions. They defeated the Franklin Clarmacs in a best of three series; 3-0 and 3-1 on Sunday to claim their 2nd league title. Worcester will host the North Atlantic Regional Tournament in August for a chance to go to the Stan Musial World Series. Clarmacs will host the south bracket of the Mass/RI Musials on Saturday, July 24th at Dean College, 12:00noon against the North Shore Leagues #4 seed. | HABL Playoffs • Wed Jul 14
The 2010 Playoffs kicked off with a Clarmacs 4-1 win over North Attleboro on Tuesday night. Game two will continue on Thursday, July 15 @ Dean College 5:45 p.m.
On the other side of the bracket is Worcester vs. Blackstone at Rochdale, which will be attempted tonight, Wednesday, July 14th at Rochdale at 7:30 p.m. (if weather cooperates). | |
